I would give 0 stars if I could.This is possibly the worse doctors practice in the UK. I have been about 4 times in 2 years between me and my son.Today I have just rushed into the doctors with my 8 year old son, he has just had a serious fall and had a giant egg on his head along with a cut too. The receptionist wouldn't allow me to speak to a doctor, just to check on him. After telling them THEY ARE NOT A DOCTOR!! They finally went to get a doctor. He wouldn't even look at him and sent me packing. When I said it was out of order his answer was 'Find another doctors'Previous to this my son had bladder issues they so I went to the doctor for help, they refused and told me to check the internet for help. Luckily I found a way round to get to the hospital and now under an appropriate department. Another time I called for my repeat prescription they said I couldn't have it with out seeing a doctor. I asked for an appointment and they wouldn't give me one. I needed the prescription as a matter of urgency. They basically told me to see what I could get over the counter, I had already told them over the counter medication wasn't working. But once again the receptionist knows best!!The 4th time my son had an ear infection and screaming in pain, they the wouldn't give me an emergency appointment within 24 hours, all they would offer me was an appointment for 3.5 weeks time. I have put in a complaint and all the doctor had to say is if you don't like it move to a different doctors! I WILL BE!!
This practice has always seen my little boy the same day when he has been unwell. They usually get me in same day when the need is there. The service has been fantastic, I can't fault them at all. When they were concerned about some symptoms I was showing, they fast tracked me to neurology at Hallamshire, where I was seen 2 days later. The pharmacy is across the car park, so no need to jump in your car to get there.
